Custom Outdoor Kitchen

The property owners of this lakeside home in Massachusetts wanted to renovate their outdoor space for their renters. This renovation included several features, the most prominent of which was a custom kitchen island overlooking the lake.

The existing backyard was nothing more than an underutilized lawn leading down to a lake in the distance. Using hand sketches and site photos, I created a comprehensive set of construction documents and 3D perspectives.

This image revealed the final product while construction was just getting underway. My design features a hardscape patio space for dining, a seating wall, a pergola, and the custom island itself.
